The MAPPA Stage 2023 event unveiled the main cast, a second teaser visual (pictured), and trailer for Mari Okada's Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou (The Illusory Factory of Alice and Therese) original anime movie on Sunday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan on September 15. Cast Masamune Kikuiri: Junya Enoki (Jujutsu Kaisen) Mutsumi Sagami: Reina Ueda (Dimension W) Itsumi: Misaki Kuno (Kiznaiver) Okada (Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou) is directing and penning the movie at MAPPA, with assistant director Tadashi Hiramatsu (Top wo Nerae 2! Diebuster episode director). Yuriko Ishii (Nagi no Asu kara) is serving as both the character designer and chief animation director. Masaru Yokoyama (Kuzu no Honkai) is composing the music. Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing the movie.
