Manhwa 'Gosu' Gets Anime Adaptation

Toei Animation and Naver Webtoon's Studio N announced on Monday that the companies are producing an anime adaptation of Giun Ryu and Jung-Hoo Mun's Gosu (The Master) manhwa. Ryu and Mun serialized the historical martial arts manhwa on the Naver Webtoon's website from September 2015 to April 2021. Webtoon Entertainment is publishing the manhwa in English. The series garnered a cumulative 1.4 billion views worldwide. Gosu is a sequel to the Yongbi Bulpae (Yongbi the Invincible) manhwa, which was serialized from 1998 to 2002. A side story manhwa ran from 2006 to 2013. Synopsis When his master dies, Gang Yong pledges to avenge his teacher at all costs.
